This is disturbing
So i am looking at a housing ad" in San Jose. Mind you I have no money to afford it, but this line in the ad gives me the creeps:
**Upscale neighborhood: Multi-million dollar single family house just next door
So the owner expects a premium on his house just because a million dollar home is in the next lot?! What trite!!!!!

Panauti
Tendulkar got out 7 times (6 in one-days and once in five-days) in 90's this year and every time Rameez Raja was commentating. The moment Tendulkar gets into his 90's Rameez Raja will rush to the commentators box and will stay there until Sachin gets out.

PS I love you
I can see Karan Johar written all over this. I wonder when is he "remaking" this one. A dead husband leaves a basketfull of letters to his wife who must read and act according to the instructions, of which the most important includes falling in love again.
This is so in Johar's Alley. I will wait for Hindi version of the movie.

Its as if
I've landed in some sort of a swamp, unable to move out. Needs a little bit of will. Life is great right now, but a bit stagnant!

Bones
By far the most idiotic crime drama on TV there is. Oh wait, there is NUMB3RS.

Overeating
You know your stomach does give you enough warnings that you are full. But you refuse to listen to it because because that darn turkey is so bloddy tasty!
And then you spend the night burping and gloating.

Thanksgiving
Friend picked me up on Thursday night. He was too bored to drive me back. Stayed over. Next day, we were too drunk, so couldnt drop me home. Next day, bad hangover, so no point driving back. Today. Sunday. Back home.
It was an eventful Thanksgiving.

Oprah
Exactly who watches her show. It airs at 4.00pm daily - now half the civilization is sleeping or at work at that hour. So, who watches her. Why is she even on TV!

Rameez Raja
..has learnt a new phrase.
"Upwardly mobile"
He repeats it every 15 mins. When he doesn't he's talking about Yoooovraj Singh.

Releases this week!! One of my all time favorite books coming to screen - I HAVE to watch it!

Happy Diwali!
Though its a sad state of society when everyone wants to wish their close friends a Happy Diwali only through emails, but not give a single call.
Where are the days when people actually met on the eve of Diwali and talked to each other? Or called each other to wish Happy Diwali?
Has our lives so much more busier that we don't even have time to sit for a few minutes and talk to people.
By far the most boring Diwali I've had in years. :(

Raja Sen
Stop reviewing reviews! What an idiot - The promos were all over the place and didn't suggest even once that Saawariya would be realistic. His major gripe - there are no "real" characters in the movie!
Now - when was the last time you went to a Bhansali to expect realism? Grow up Raja Sen - You could haw-haw on a ridiculous flick like Amelie (which was as unrealistic as it gets); just admit you are another wannabe white a** licker.

Statistics
Stop it Taran Adarsh!!! You are not wall street journal! So stop using graphs and data to illustrate your point. You are looking even dumber than you think!
You don't measure popularity of an actress by the number of orkut communites she has!!
GRRRRRRRR!!! Why did I even read it!

Saawariya vs OSO
Which movie should I watch first?
Seeing the trailers is not helping much - while every song seems to look like the same in Saawariya, Om Shaanti Om seems ridiculous (With what a a man tied to rocket taking off into sky and all in trailer..).
Saawariya is just 2 hours 8 minutes, while I am pretty surer SRK will take all of those many minutes to just die ONCE in the movie. And then come back again and take as much time again to settle scores...
I will see both, entirely for different reasons... its been a while I have seen a good movie and a unintentional comedy.

This just in
Witnesses in the north Indian village of Ramgarh say that they have seen Steve Jobs create a big scene there.
Apparently the Apple CEO has climbed on top of the water tank and is repeatedly shouting " I am NOT attention seeking... I AM NOT attention seeking"

..in collaboration with Universal Pictures presents:
KING KONG - the horny monkey
Nothing even on TV to watch. Perhaps I should go out and watch some brainless Hollywood action flick!

Leopard Webclip feature!
I am in love with this feature I must say - Now I can cut a snippet of web page and save it as a widget on my dashboard. Everytime I access the dashboard, the widget updates the web snippet.
Excellent way of going to annoying sites like TOI and rest, and reading just what you want to, without the pesky pop-up ads!
I can also keep a watch on my favorite ebay auctions the same way - without having to register with them to send me SMS, or IM or any such crap!
;)

Jab We Met
Guilty pleasure.
I wanted to hate the movie and sat through it.
It figured that I could sit through it was actually good thing.
Kareena is brilliant in her role. Her role is of an incessantly annoying girl. Absolutely suited her.
All in all, DDLJ meets HDDCS meets HAHK meets million other movies; yet enjoyable!
