Sreesanth
I know exactly what makes Sreesanth such a great bowler!
He bowls 15 wides to a batsman. The batsman, bored by now, thinks the 16th one is almost certianly a wide as well and leaves it. Wrong! Its straight on the stumps. LBW!

Chak de my foot
Chak de is the next expression thats gone on top of my hate list. Chak this Chak that.. Chak de factor, Team India Chak de ?! Give me a ^&*(^(*^0- break!
I can see whats happening. SRK couldn't bear the fact that many got affected by RDB and Gandhigiri was a hot term. So he and his assosiates would want to see Chak De in the same light and promote it that way.
The truth is in reality the exact opposite of whats being preached in the film (for the most part) is happening again. Here are our poor hockey team who won the Asia Cup who the media just made a passing reference to. And here's whats happening now after T20.
And that fool SRK was out there cheering and jumping up and down in the finals. I wonder if he attended the hockey final. I think not!

House vs Grey's Anatomy
Its difficult to decide which is a better show, but I am leaning towards House. His acting and his rudeness makes it up for me - plus the fabolous one liners and smart a** comments House makes..... makes it go up a notch.
I was pleasantly surprised by Grey's - after the third season weepo ending I didnt think it would be remotely good. I was surprised I watched it whole... good sign good sign :P

The simple life
I sometimes wonder why dont I have a career of that of a Mailman or the DHL delivery guy?
Life's so simple for them - take the mail/parcel... go about the designated route - drop the mail/parcel - go back home!!

Saawariya
I didnt like the songs on the first listen, but I am slowly getting into them. Nonetheless, compared to SLB's previous efforts, the music is a tad bit disappointing, considering Bhansali never disappoints in music.
Somehow Saawariya seems to have a Devdas hangover all over it in songs.

Bowl out
I don't know why people have that image of Team India, but the Paki team falls to pieces under pressure. First they found it so hard to get the easily manageable 140 odd.. and they coildn't get 5 runs off 3 balls (in 20 - 20 game) and the ONE run off TWO balls..
And afterwards in the bowl out couldn't hit the stumps even ONCE!!
Thats pretty poor showing for a talented team like that. Who knows, they might turn it around as the tournament progresses!

Gujarati Thaali
Had a Gujarathi Thaali at a pakka gujju restaurant called "Pakvaan".
It was a total thaali style eatery with fixed menu.
I couldnt figure out why we were served deserts - The whole freaking Thaali tasted SWEET anyways!! If anything we should have been given something spicy to end the meal.
The Kadhi tasted like basundi, while the daal was suspiciously more liquified mysore pak. Heck even the puris tasted sweet!!!
