Finally Finally Finally..
..after a year long wait.. today we are getting our broadband connection!!! and surprisingly, the BSNL guys took the initiative to call us up and inform abt it! Wow! I feel privileged & honoured!!.. coz its usually the otherway round where I keep dropping into their office every month and bug abt my connection!

Everywhere..
On TV, radio.. talent shows, films, soaps, and average man on the street seem to be saying only one phrase "Mindblowing"
That was mindblowing. Yes, its started to blow my mind.
Find a new catch phrase people. Whats happening?

Sunday
Late night Saturday left for Shimla.. One of those 5 minute plans.. decided to attend this wedding and also breathe some cool air. Now sitting in a lousy Internet cafe which says "Broadband" in huge letters on the door. The only thing broad at the moment is my head, waiting for the page to load!
And my eyes are loving the wonderful flickering effects on the screen.. they almost want me to sleep. Maybe this could be my answer to insomnia!

Pretty hectic! I'm not yet over the initial shock. Feelings like "How can anyone live in this place?".. This usualy lasts for a couple of days and then you feel "Why did I leave in the first place?"
Conversation with my taxi driver, who was from UP:
Me: Traffic ka bohot bura haal hai. Itne flyover banne ke baad bhi.
Driver: Ab hum aapko sahi baat bataein? Delliye myai traffic itna kharaab hai.. Aap thoda bahar jayeaga to bheed to udhar bhi hai par dekhiyega jaam bhaam nahi hai. Aapko pata hai kyun?
Me: Kyun?
Driver: Woh isliye ki Delhi mein aadhe se jaada gaadi to mydum chalati hai! Sasura kachua ki tarah chalti hai aur kabhi side nahi deti.. Aur kahin bhi thoda gaip (gap) dikha to us mein ghus jao. Ab koi aadmi ho to hum kuch bolein bhi.. Kuch kar diya to chaar jhaapad bhi maar sakte hain. Par Mydum log ko kya kijiyega.
Me: Hmm..
Yet another man who seems suicidal because of women.. for entirely different reasons.

I have mixed feelings regarding her. On one hand she is the only Indian women's player who has achieved anything in tennis.. in any sport for that matter..

He annoys me sometimes. I am watching ATP tennis tour - Federer v Hewit match. Fedrer should have won this match in the second set and very easily so but NO, he has to make it difficult for himself. He will sometime take it too easy and make an unforced error.
The only person he won't relax against is Nadal, may be Nadal is the only guy who really challenges him.

I always hated the BJP
And now I hate it even more!! Why the fuss over the Nuclear deal with US now? After it has been signed and being ratified in both countries?
Why do statements coming out of US like "The deal is off if India conducts another test" stop us from making the deal? How does BJP think that this is a threat to national sovereignty???
Worst of all, deal or no deal, if we did conduct a test, we will face sanctions and what nots from half the world for a year or two - so whether US makes a statement like that really has no relevance!!
Grow up BJP!!! What fuckheads!

Do I love to be taught by a good teacher? Yes.

I dont understand myself.... I can be the best of students, and I really work wonders with a good master.... and yet, I can never teach somebody else; I lose my patience and I often find myself irritated about why others don't get it - I dont think I can ever teach something properly!
